Create a personal project using handmade elements to tell a story through the use of visual language.
IDEA
Frida was a Mexican artist known for her unique style and flair, as well as her tragic and inspirational life story. I recently visited Museo Frida Kahlo, set in her former home, and was struck by the vibrant colours of her art, clothes and the walls that were painted a vibrant blue. Frida loved patterns, colours and flowers, and used symbolism in her art. I recreated her signature in letters and built her name from the vibrant flowers and Mexican skulls and butterflies she loved.
