BRIEF

Develop a logo and brand that embodies the city of Naples. The city lacked brand recognition and wanted a brand that moved away from the literal and traditional. A new dynamic and mobile responsive website was required to cater for the increasing number of people accessing the site on smartphones.

IDEA 

Naples is the darker, edgier and more dangerous alternative for tourists in Italy, less discovered than Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Venice. I wanted to draw out the seductive side of the city and appeal to the growing tourist market wanting a holiday that offers something different and is ‘off the beaten path.’ The logo embodies the seductive spirit of Naples, with the slide down showing a glimpse into the underworld. The white space and dark contrast entices you to ‘Descend + Discover’.
